Yes! Softball Season is officially here!  I love this time of year.

I love driving by the local fields and seeing girls of all ages

practicing and competing in our sport.  I am so happy to be able

to turn on the TV and see college softball games on.  I just

got back from a clinic in PA and am speaking at a local

softball opening ceremony this weekend for Eastvale Girls

Softball.  That is exciting for me because this is my hometown.

I hope these young girls fall in love with this sport as much as

I did when I was their age. I want them to build confidence, learn

life lessons, overcome adversity, be good teammates, and experience

the power of teamwork this season! I am excited for a lot of travel

coming up- to teach softball, to share my stories with a college softball

team, to talk about leadership to High School Athletic Directors, to

speak at a Summit for the company Time Clock Plus, to share with

Jr. High and High School female athletes at the FCA Remarkable

Girls Event in Maryland, to speak to High School Softball players

at the Alex Wilcox Memorial Softball Tournament in Alabama and

more!  I am thankful for a husband who supports me and for my

boys who I get to spend so much time with during the week because

we homeschool.  I get the best of both worlds: being a mom most

of the time who is with her boys and getting some quick trips to share

my knowledge and passion with others.  I don’t take it for granted!

Love, Leah Amico
