I haven’t written in awhile because as soon as the Women’s College World Series ended, I was off and running into

summer.  School ended, Jake graduated from 8th grade, the boys went to Vacation Bible School for a week, and

that was just the beginning.  I spent Olympic Day in Oklahoma City talking at the Boys and Girls Club, sharing my

medals at a 16U Tournament and the stadium at ASA Headquarters, and I threw out the first pitch at the Minor League

baseball game.  We spent days at the beach with friends and at the local water park, Soak City.  I took another

team to compete in Italy this summer with America’s Team.  It was another unforgettable experience and these

girls are all like my adopted daughters now.  We took a family vacation to Zion, Utah (always a favorite for my

boys) and also spent a day at the lake with friends on their boat.  It was an amazing summer filled with so many

memories and now it’s back to the grind.  Softball camps have started back up (most of them are Jennie Finch

camps that I am a part of) and school is back in session.  I am excited to get back into a routine and be out on

the field teaching the sport I love.  I also started a page on facebook doing Bible devotions- check it out at

Simple Truths: Live Boldly.  God Bless!
